La Vita e Bella

I have fragmented my life into your wardrobe compartment. You have space for career, for your parents, families, indulgements, sins, charity, whims, thrills, love, etc etc...all that is part of your life.

Some of this may be a large chunk, while some may be a minute part of the so called life. Some will change in life as priorities changes, some refuses to change. All in all, life is a mosaic of spillages from other lives that criss crosses your path.

How beautiful your life is depends on how good a gardener,a music maestro, a engineer, a architect you are. Otherwise, you will be just a pushover if you do not take charge of all in the ins and outs of your life.

It is not easy. There other life that is trying to take over yours and some trusts you willingly to take theirs.

Take a step back, and look back. Quote Steve Jobs, "Connect the dots". Everything explains itself in hindsight.

Whatever you do, whatever you let , impacts your life thereafter. Afterall, all of us is born with a almost the same hardware. And we are shaped by the experiences, and learnings we grew up with. Perceptions, thought structure, sequence of thoughts, even feelings,Lies, warning, gut feel...ALL is a mish mash of your mind that is wired through the 5 senses as we live.

So...what does this tells or teach us ? SO WHAT?

You shaped your own life. The only risk is, if you shaped it too unique, you get lonely as there is no one to share your views.

I have no answer. My life may be seen as a mess to others, chaotic. When it ends, who cares. All you have collected, memories hopefully stays in the soul as we depart this earth. This is La vita e Bella.

P.S. Should not stop others from pursuing what they want.

Thought : Life experiences are cyclical

Just some serious rambling.

Why are we here on earth for ? I often ask myself that. To be happy? Can someone be constantly happy...I doubt. To be simple, well..go be a single cell organism, that is as simple as it gets.

Like economics, life experience is cyclical. Ups and downs, happiness and sadness, achievements and dissapointments, trust and betrayal, success and failures, advance and retreat, health and sickness, birth and death and it goes on. Gosh, this is like the yin and yang thingy. Although there is both positive and negative, but the magnitude is never balanced, hence a constant change.

My current mindset, go through all of them except death la..of course.

Be true to your goals, achieve it, be happy, cannot, then be sad. Then, wake up, and continue to seek. When it ends, it ends.

Be specific in goals too.

Life is temporary. your name , legacy and your life is what you left here when you leave.

So Henry, my life also tough...

Thrifty, Frugal, Provident, Sparing, Parsimonious, Stingy, Miserly

Thrifty, Frugal, Provident, Sparing, Parsimonious, Stingy, Miserly , all these meant the same thing , but describe different behaviours.

And excerpt from a online article i read recently explains all that.

" The English language is rich with words to describe personal economic behavior. There are words people use when they're happy that you're not spending too much: thrifty, frugal, provident. There are words people use when they're not so sure: sparing, parsimonious. These are the words people use when they're unhappy that you're not spending more: stingy and miserly.

The fact is, though, that these words work pretty well for marking the dividing line between normal behavior and crazy behavior."

My skeptics

This is my 101 posts. As I grow up and live life. I grew from a optimistic view of life to a cynical ones. Beliefs that I was taught and bred seems superficial to a troubled underlying reality.

I draw from life , two pessimist beliefs.

"Everybody lies" ( i got it from House)

"Everyone is incentive driven" (got it from reading Freakanomics)

This is what has been shaping our world. Of cos, there might be some exceptions which are rare. Sad to say, our world really needs a Noah and a great flood.

I have seen many behavioral example to prove those. Humans tend to lie more to get away, and most of our actions are chose to be beneficial to us be it tangible or intangible.

Only a way to to achieve true happiness, i think one must stick by ignorance.

"ignorance is bliss" is indeed true.
